Four Legged Friends Foundation’s future plan is to implement our Freedom & Ease program to support the disabled and their assistant animals. Just imagine, you walk into a restaurant, ready to enjoy dinner with friends, loved ones — and are abruptly asked to leave because your Assistance Animal is at your side. This is an unfortunate yet common occurrence. Society in general has not caught up with the exponential growth in recent years of The Assistance Animal Industry wherein individually trained animals now serve as eyes, ears, legs, protectors & communicators for innumerable people with disabilities including hearing impaired and epilepsy. These are working animals, not pets, viewed as medical equipment and sanctioned by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and yet are routinely requested to leave from restaurants, shopping areas, and even public transportation. FLuFF is committed to educating the public on the legal rights the disabled have with their Assistance Animals so they may enjoy the independence these animals provide them with Freedom & Ease.
