Give Me a Paw
 | |
Every year hundreds of millions of dollars are lost to deceptive individuals and organizations posing as legitimate charities that prey upon the giving nature of individuals and businesses. In Los Angeles alone, it is estimated as much as $100 million is lost to unscrupulous solicitors annually.˛ The deceptive animal-welfare organizations do not care for the animals they use to lure in donors. Some become hoarders causing harm and sickness from too many animals on property. |
To assist good-hearted businesses and individuals and stop the improper care of animals, Four Legged Friends Foundation is developing the Give Me a Paw program. The program consists of surveying the community to obtain their experience with organizations, and inspecting and researching charities. The results will be a 1-4 paw rating system serving as a resource to help honest and effective charities improve their existing programs, and a guide to the public for choosing where to best direct their contributions, find services and opportunities for themselves and their loved ones, both two and four legged! Give Me a Paw gives the community a resource of animal-related services, from finding the right pet to getting their pet the care it needs.
Recently Four Legged Friends Foundation started collecting data for the Give Me a Paw Veterinarian Guide which is being created through pet owner surveys. This guide will help the community find the right care for their pet and to support those compassionate veterinarians that have assisted pets with Another Sunny Day Fund. To refer a veterinarian for our guide, please click here to fill out the survey.
Stay tuned for the posting of the Give Me a Paw Veterinarian Guide.
