Join Four Legged Friends Foundation as we present Dancing with the Dogs November 2009 Fun Competition at Best Friends Pet Adoption Festival Sunday November 15th, 2009 11 am – 4 pm, La Brea Tar Pits.
Come watch the Dancing with the Dogs fun competition where the only STARS you’ll see are furry ones performing in front of celebrity judges! Handlers perform routines with their dog to music created to best fit their dog’s personality. It is a fun competition involving the community and showcasing the value that dogs bring to a family.
Warm ups and showcase performances start at 11:00 am and the competition begins at 1 pm. Throughout the day, you will have an opportunity to see if Dancing with the Dogs is for you by signing up for an introductory workshop for only $10 (with or without your dog). Bring plenty of treats for class.

Best Friends Pet Adoption Festival finds homes for hundreds of homeless animals. The event consists of rescue groups, shelters, retailers, demonstrations in grooming & training, and pet health care experts to provide information and assistance to the public who have adopted new pets. This festival has made its mark as the largest pet adoption event in the nation, with an average of 8,000 attendees and 400 adoptions per event. FLuFF supports Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles Programs in creating a time when there are No More Homeless Pets, and every cat or dog who is ever born can be guaranteed a good home with a loving family.
